WORKSHOP

Torat Haguf, Torah of the Body Series

The Torah teaches that all are made in the image of God. In this experiential workshop series, explore how the wisdom of the divine, as expressed in the body, can be unlocked through movement processes, expanded perceptual states and hands-on learning. Learn how to be present – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually – through Integrated Awareness processes that instruct how lives can be shaped from learned patterns of movement, thought and behavior. Wear comfortable clothing for gentle floor movements, and bring a towel or blanket for floor processes.

During these workshops we’ll explore how:
  • Divine wisdom can be garnered through our bodies
  • New movements enable change in behavior
  • Vulnerability equals connection
  • To access more presence and deeper self trust, trust of others and for life itself

Themes will change each week based on a Torah portion, Chassidic story or Kabalistic principle.

These will be traditional introductory IA classes, designed for beginners but with enough appeal for the advanced practitioner to enjoy as well. They are called Torah of the Body because the theme for personal discovery will be couched through tales from the shtetls and Chassidic teachers, Kabbalistic principles and Torah portions. The structure will be all IA: self-healing through self-discovery. The classes are open to all. Drop-in's are very welcomed.
