Introduction to Integrated Awareness
How to Say Yes if Your Posture Says No?
A simple nod or shake tells others ''yes'' or ''no.'' Other subtle movements, while barely discernible even to us, may broadcast messages that are contradictory, confused, or even the opposite of what we intended to convey.
Our earliest childhood wounds and rules create the chronic holding patterns that drive these unconscious signals. The result is communications we do not intend – “yes” when we mean ''no,'' or ''not really'' when we mean to agree.
This workshop offers the opportunity to experience from the inside the messages our body holds, hides and reveals without our intention. In doing so, we loosen the hold of the past on our present communications.
During Integrated Awareness® (IA) workshops we explore how:
- New movements enable change in behavior
- Vulnerability equals connection
- To access more presence and deeper self-trust, trust of others and of life itself
- Divine wisdom can be garnered through our bodies
You are encouraged to approach this class anticipating discovery and real change to occur. Dress for gentle floor
movement.
