Boundaries:
Wall of China or Line in the Sand
Thursday, March 17, 2011
6:30-8:30 pm
Why does setting boundaries seem so challenging? Why do we create immutable boundaries that keep changing - or boundaries so dense that it can block the kind of closeness we yearn for in a relationship? As children, we learned that taking care of others is tantamount to being loved, while setting boundaries creates separation and abandonment. Many of us did not learn that caring for ourselves actually strengthens our connection with those we love or how to build a distinct and yielding boundary.
In this class there will be an opportunity to experience your habitual boundaries and shift it when desired.
