Update from last week's newsletter about Rick: he came through the surgery well (the doc said he removed a 4 or 5 pound kidney!), was home in a few days and yesterday proudly showed off his scars and bruising for my viewing pleasure. And it was a pleasure knowing he is doing so well despite the gory nature of the sight before me.
