My heart notes are based on Haiku, a Japanese style of poetry which loosely translates to seventeen syllables, in three lines: five, seven, and five.

We all have attachments. Some we wouldn't let go of if we had the choice - like our health or family. Some we don't realize we have and would love to let go of if we realized it.

Attachments to outmoded beliefs and grievances are not always easy to recognize. The good news is that these attachments are held in our body and can be released without necessarily  having to name each one. Knowing the generic topic is usually enough.

3 Tips for Living a More InBodied Life™

     FREE FRIDAY EVENING PRESENTATION
Santa Rosa
November 18, 2011
7:00-8:30 p.m.

Learn 3 tips for being more present in your body that your mother didn't teach you and you probably didn't learn in college!

You know about presence, you know how to do it at a retreat, in quiet moments and meditation. But how do you access it during stress? How do you return to this place in the midst of a busy life and overwhelming moments? The answer lies in your body.

Our body is the one aspect of our being that is always present. The body is not in the future wishing it were somewhere else or in the past reminiscing. The body is  here and now. However, the yearnings we have for 'another' or 'more,' along with the influences of the past, affect how we hold our body and our posture.
You will walk away with three pragmatic tips for how to return to the present moment - again and again.
