The Freedom of Poetry
Poetry that Frees

Come join me as I teach about my other passion - poetry!
 
Create a poem for freedom, about freedom, in freedom, from the freed and enslaved places within. Give your imprisoned writer a chisel and cut an opening for your imagination to step out and breathe some fresh air. This evening will be an opportunity to create poems that represent your experience and vision of freedom. We will use guided visualization, movement and inspirational writings to create poems. There will be plenty of class time for writing. 
 
This class will be held at:
Congregation Ner Shalom 
85 La Plaza
Cotati, CA 9493 
 
Suggested donation: $8 for Ner Shalom members; $10 for others; no one turned away for lack of funds or affiliation :>)   This event is inspired by Passover but will not be religious in orientation.
 
Special bonus: if you wish, your poem may be included in the Ner Shalom Haggadah (Passover holiday booklet) and/or you may be invited to present it at our community seder on April 7!

Join us for an evening of inspired messages and healing to clarify your path in these times of great change. We will start with channelings by Michaela and Ronnie, and finish with a group sound healing session with Michaela, Kim and Dhyana.

Sally Churgel began studying Integrated Awareness® twenty years ago and was certified as a teacher in 1996. In 2011 she completed a one year training in Internal Family Systems work. Sally brings observation and listening skills to her healing and teaching that she  learned from 15 years of facilitation and 10 years operating a ropes course/team building company. She has offered private sessions in Australia and New Zealand. Sally sees private clients and couples in San Francisco and Rohnert Park, California.
